Li’l Nancy’s Primary Schoolhouse is a community-based childcare and early childhood educational program in Oakland, CA.
Ms. Nancy Harvey — affectionately known as “Ms. Nancy” to some and “Mama Nancy” to others of her West Oakland community — opened the schoolhouse in 2004, and has run it ever since.

This is the philosophy behind Ms. Nancy’s mission, as she and her amazing staff serve the families and children of her beloved community of Oakland, California.
Li’l Nancy’s Primary Schoolhouse strives to have an ethnically and socioeconomically diverse set of families, while delivering a low teacher-to-child ratio to ensure the promoting of an increased, quality learning program. A major goal is to prevent any educational gaps from developing.
